Who stands behind SK Dental Clinic?
Behind the SK Dental network of dental clinics are two friends - MDDr. Maroš Kamenický and JUDr. Mgr. Štefan Siskovič, PhD.
Two people from different worlds were brought together by one shared idea - to build something with real meaning for people. Maroš is a dentist and oral surgery specialist, Štefan is a lawyer and associate professor. Each brought different experience, a different perspective and different strengths to the project. That is exactly why they were able to complement each other naturally.
While Maroš understood patient needs directly from the dental office and knew what was often missing in care, Štefan was able to think about the system, organization and building a stable foundation. Together they created a team that turned a simple idea into a real project.
How did it all begin?
Let us go back to 2016.
As a dentist, Maroš often saw patients who came in with pain, inflammation or another acute problem after trying in vain to find help. In many towns, it was not easy to get to a dentist quickly, especially in emergency cases.
This experience became the impulse. Maroš and Štefan decided to create a place where patients would not be left without help, even on weekends or holidays. A place combining expert care, modern medicine and a human approach. That is how the first SK Dental emergency dental service in Trnava was created.
From the beginning, it was not just a clinic. It was a place where patients found professionals who listened, explained treatment options and tried to find an individual solution for every patient.
When patients decide the next step
Over time, something interesting began to happen. Patients who came to the emergency clinic with an acute problem started asking whether they could also come regularly and whether we had a day dental clinic. They wanted a place where their teeth would be cared for long term.
It was precisely thanks to this trust that we gradually began to grow. A day dental clinic and a specialized oral surgery clinic were added to the original emergency clinic.
One clinic gradually became a place where medical expertise, modern equipment and a pleasant environment meet.
SK Dental today
Today, SK Dental Clinic is a modern network of dental clinics in Slovakia.
Since opening the first clinic in Trnava in 2016, we have gradually expanded to other cities:
2018 - Prešov and Žilina
2021 - Bratislava
At SK Dental clinics today, experienced specialists care for the oral health of patients of all ages.
The proper running of each clinic is also supervised by a professional guarantor - a dentist. In Trnava, this is Dr. Strakoš and Dr. Šimo, in Prešov Dr. Barna, in Žilina Dr. Kúdelčík, and in Bratislava Dr. Kadlic.

Why are we called SK Dental Clinic?
The name SK Dental Clinic connects our origin, our values and our vision of modern dentistry.
It comes from the surnames of the founders - Siskovič and Kamenický - and has formed the foundation of the SK Dental brand from the very beginning.
Our beginnings go back to the Zubná pohotovosť Trnava project, where we gradually expanded services into comprehensive dental care and specialized clinics.
As we grew and expanded, we went through a rebrand and unified the brand under the name SK Dental Clinic Trnava, which we later brought to other cities as well. Today we present ourselves under one name, SK Dental Clinic - a modern network of dental clinics in Slovakia.
"SK" does not mean only Slovakia, but also the values we build on - expertise, trust and high-quality healthcare.
Why we do this
We believe a smile is more than aesthetics. It is health, confidence and a good feeling about life. That is why SK Dental Clinic was created - to help people feel better, healthier and more satisfied.
We thank our founders, MDDr. Maroš Kamenický and JUDr. Mgr. Štefan Siskovič, PhD., who stood at the beginning of this idea.
And we also thank all patients who are part of our story today.
